I know, I know...I need another blog like a fish needs a bicycle. And if it was just "one more thing to keep track of" I wouldn't bother.
But what I really need is a place where I can post notes "on the fly" as I read vast quantities of information this term. Once again, I find myself teaching church history...but the load is bigger than it's ever been, and I've had less time to prepare. As I've shared with many folks, I don't have the leisure of a "scholarly" life at the moment -- I am busy homeschooling, parenting, writing, doing mission & ministry with my family and in our parish -- so the scholarly work I can do has to be fitted into cracks and crevices.
I'm still looking into the possibility of keeping reading notes in a different format, perhaps through a program like Evernote. But I need to dive in quickly, and I'm already comfortable with the format here on blogger. So for the moment, my reading notes will go here -- not to share, but just to be here where I can easily find them, categorize them, tag them, organize them, and think through them.
